First is a letter dated October 26, 1979 from Lonnie W. Wege to Hesston's Mayor Milton R. Miller. Wege, Vice President of Public & Employee Relations at Cities Service Gas Company based in Oklahoma City, expresses his appreciation to Hesston's Mayor Milton Miller for his participation in their Hesston dedication ceremonies that week.
Next is a letter dated October 2, 1979 from Jack Morton to Mayor Milton R. Miller. Morton, President of Cities Service Gas Company, invited Hesston's Mayor Miller to attend and give the official welcoming remarks at the dedication of their Rawlins-Hesston Pipeline near Hesston on Wednesday, October 24, 1979. An invitation was also extended to attend a gathering of other distinguished guests in their hospitality suite in the Executive Suite at the Holiday Inn Plaza in downtown Wichita from 6-8 pm the night before the ceremonies. He enclosed a brief program and a map of the site of the ceremonies and access roads.
Finally, there is a letter dated October 8, 1979 from Miller to Morton acknowledging the invitation, congratulationg the company on this very important step to supplying natural gas to the Mid-Continent area, and agreeing to participate in the dedication.
