Description
Three men smilingly examine a tractor lying on its side, which appears to have two broken axles. Handwritten on back: "Tractor hit by large truck passing us just soon after we left Hesston on 81 going West. The same day Lyle [Yost] bought a new one, an MM."
"MM" probably refers to Minneapolis-Moline tractors, which were produced between 1936 and 1975. The photo seen in Item #1804 dates this photo in 1947.
