"A view of 100 Block N. Main in Hesston, Ks. At front left is Hesston House (a hotel) and at far left, the first grain elevator. At front left is Hardware, and second left a bldg used as grocery & later a cafe." -handwritten on back of post card (copy 2)

"We arrived at Newton at 3:40 this PM Sat the 15th. Aaron was there also ^cousin will Rich to meet us we had to wait till 6 oclock before we could leave for Hesston.It has rained since we arrived. Sister Chris came with us. (Mary D. [illegible]) - handwritten on back of postcard, addressed to Rose Stoltzfus, West Liberty, Logan CO Ohio
