Hesston's first public school, 300 East Amos Street -label on back of postcard

Back of postcard, addressed to Grace Schroeder, 824 N. Merchant St, El Dorado Ks, reads (some text is obscured by label but is legible when lit from behind): "Hesston Ks Jan 2, 1915. Dear Grace, I'm mailing this card via McPherson, so your next letter let me know if rec'd on Monday or not. -Papa"

Handwritten caption on back of second copy reads, "The first school building within the city limits of Hesston, Ks. Originally built in the country 1/2 mi north of Lincoln St and Ridge Rd. It was moved into Hesston in the year 1901."
